Early morning I brought goodies from Super Pita. My friends at work reciprocated with balloons. I was joining my birthday to the yartzeit of Baba Sali, today, the 4th of Shvat. You can find a complete calendar at Nehora.

I Love you PAPA!~!!!! Happy Birthday. I just came back from the Boston Symphony ( Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto #2) and Strauss symphony. Just like you taught me...I paid 9 dollars ( student rush tickets...to get them you have to stand in line between 10 am and 10:30...after that, regular price) and THEN I sat in the front row. ( Such audacity!) I was INCHES away from the pianist...and then right in front of me were a father and 8 year old son, who immediately asked if I teach piano. So hopefully, when I move in February ( yet again_) I will be able to start teaching piano again. I was amazed at the attention span and interest of the little boy. He would be a favorite...
In any case, Aaron and I have been trying to get in touch with Baba Sali;s son in law ( Rabbi Abuchtzierah) to pray for my health. Remember he came to Beit Rambam when I was 11 and cured my habit of twisting ankles ?
I LOVE YOU PAPA!! you look great and hope mama cooks something extra special for your birthday ( which I am sure she will) As soon as I am well I look forward to coming to visit. I miss you all
